Brook Lane – Street light fixed

Alley street light repaired: At last the Council has fixed the street light in the alley behind Brook Lane near Ermine Road. In response to our residents’ survey that we carried out in August, a resident told us that an alley street light was not working. This was despite many requests to the Council, over a period of 2 years, to repair it. Your local Lib Dem Focus Team got on to the problem. Initially we found that the street light was not on the council’s list, which is why it had got overlooked. Once this was put right we got the Council to move into action to repair it. Please contact any member of your Focus Team if you have any comments or there are any further problems you would like us to deal with.

  1. Thanks – I suspect this is to do with the Polaroid plugin I’m using in Windows Live Writer to add image captions. I’ll look into doing this another way – bit difficult because I can’t replicate the error on my Windows machines.
