The consultation on the six revised draft NPSs for Energy, including a revised draft NPS for Nuclear will close on Monday 24 January 2011. To find out more information about the consultation and how to respond please go to the NPS website at www.energynpsconsultation.decc.gov.uk We held 3 national consultation events at Bristol, Manchester and London in November and December 2010 and officials from the Department of Energy and Climate Change have been attending meetings organised by local authorities and local interest groups at the listed sites over the course of the consultation period. The remaining events will be taking place on:

• Tuesday 12^th January, 6:30 – 9:30pm, Bridgwater. Hosted by Sedgemoor District Council. This meeting will discuss the revised draft National Policy Statement for Energy Networks (EN-5) and for Nuclear Power Generation (EN-6);

• Saturday 15th January, 10am-12pm, Leiston. Hosted by Campaign Against Nuclear Expansion. This meeting will discuss the revised draft National Policy Statement for Nuclear Power Generation (EN-6);

• Week commencing 17th January, date and time TBC, Dungeness. Hosted by Shepway District Council. This meeting will discuss the revised draft National Policy Statement for Nuclear Power Generation (EN-6)
