Saturday 3 December, Coffee Morning Hosted by Colin & Margaret Bain
Thank you Colin & Margaret for giving us such a fun and entertaining morning in the run-up to Christmas. Wonderful Lib Dem company,  yummy cakes and drinks supplied by our hosts, a grand raffle and, for those who do not mind heights, a climb into the loft to explore a magical Yorkshire landscape complete with an amazing fully operational model 9-engine working railway. Of course there was the serious business of applauding the election result in Richmond Park, with the stunning success achieved by Sarah Olney and the Campaign Team with so many volunteers. Ann Farrell brought along Cheshire West & Chester Council's "Review of Community Governance Arrangements".  You can complete the questionnaire on-line at: www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/CommunityGovernanceChester Raury Mason, our  Focus Team member in  Newton says "The unparished areas of Chester should have Parish Councils, like most other areas in Cheshire West and Chester." Thanks to all who came along and contributed to the success of the event.  If you would like to hold a coffee morning, please contact Annie Mead, [email protected] Please save your used unwanted Christmas cards for Michael Main, who is collecting them in aid of the Woodland Trust.
