Mark and Noel recently went door knocking to ask residents in Newton & Hoole about their concerns with our local open spaces.
One thing that kept coming up was the state of the pavements and how poorly kept the trees were in the area.
On one street in Newton tree roots were breaking up the pavement so badly that they were visible and the pavement was a hazard.
On Brook Lane Noel found trees with broken branches, that would become a hazard to pedestrians, vehicles and properties in a storm.
Mark Williams said: “If elected as your councillors we will ensure that our streets are properly looked after and our pavements are safe to use”
